I'm creating a lined pipe spec and I'm having connection issues. The paper spec is 1"-6" Carbon Steel PTFE Teflon lined w/flanged spools (Lined Pipe Module) and 1/2"-3/4" Solid "Kynar" PVDF (Plastic Module). I have the 1"-6" working and the 1/2"-3/4" working. My problem is joining the two. If my line is 1" and reduces to 1/2" I'm unable to connect. Has anyone worked with an Autoplant spec similar to this?

Additional info:
The smaller Kynar pipe (1/2"-3/4") uses stub ends with a back-up flange. I've added reducing filler flanges to the spec and they come in alright on the larger flanged spools. But when I try to connect the smaller size plastic stub end with back-up flange I get the spec error. The end condition on the reducing filler flange is LGL and my stub end is LAP.

I believe that you need to make sure that those joints are allowed to connect in the program by opening the ...\Config\modules\joints.ini file and then finding each of those joint types and making sure that End2 lists the opposite end type. (i.e. under the "Lined Lug" section I see End1 is "LGL" but under End2 I do not see "LAP"...probably need to fix that).

OK thanks, that helps. Now do you know where to edit the FastenerScript? I need it to not ask for a gasket, just the bolts. I figure if I edit the "FastenerScript = at_FlangedJoint_fasteners" that might work.

I know that if you use an end condition of FLL that will allow a connection without gasket. I don't know about the LGL end condition.
