I'm creating a lined pipe spec and I'm having connection issues. The paper spec is 1"-6" Carbon Steel PTFE Teflon lined w/flanged spools (Lined Pipe Module) and 1/2"-3/4" Solid "Kynar" PVDF (Plastic Module). I have the 1"-6" working and the 1/2"-3/4" working. My problem is joining the two. If my line is 1" and reduces to 1/2" I'm unable to connect. Has anyone worked with an Autoplant spec similar to this?
Additional info:
The smaller Kynar pipe (1/2"-3/4") uses stub ends with a back-up flange. I've added reducing filler flanges to the spec and they come in alright on the larger flanged spools. But when I try to connect the smaller size plastic stub end with back-up flange I get the spec error. The end condition on the reducing filler flange is LGL and my stub end is LAP.
